Replacing the covers on Porsche headlights is not a simple oven bake and pull apart procedure. The 997, 981, 991 and 718 series headlights are assembled with a sealant/adhesive which does not soften with heat. Because of this permanent sealant, we use an ultrasonic cutter to precisely and strategically separate the covers from the housing in a manner as to not damage the internal trim parts or channel.
