The following guide is helpful information that addresses common packing and shipping questions that we have received from our previous clients.
Headlights can be sent to us without bulbs or ballasts in order to avoid potential damage during shipping but it is not necessary to remove the components as long as they are well packaged. During our repair service, their presence does not affect our ability to remove and replace the headlight covers.
NOTE: We are not liable for bulbs or electronic units failing to function following our repair service since packing, shipping and handling of incoming units and the handling of outgoing units is completely out of our control.
If you do remove any components, be certain to indicate if they were from the drivers or passenger side as they need to be re-installed accordingly.
Since the polycarbonate lens covers of the headlights are being replaced, we recommend that extra caution be taken to protect the actual housing portion of the lights so no tabs or control units are damaged during shipping. Use bubble-wrap to effectively create an impact barrier.
Please do not use regular styro-foam packing peanuts since they generate static and break into smaller debris during transport.
Providing a tracking number to us for your incoming repair service headlights is not necessary.
The ship-to address: 1491 Polaris Pkwy. Suite 121, Columbus Ohio 43240 is a business address to ensure all packages will be securely received.
The included shipping service is via UPS Ground and for security purposes all outbound packages are sent with Signature Required. If a recipient is not available to sign when UPS attempts delivery, a second attempt will be made the following business day. After 2 attempts, the package will be sent to the nearest UPS Access Point location where it will be held for pick up for 7 calendar days. Please notify us prior to shipping if you want to request to have this requirement released from the delivery.
Customers may request expedited services but will be responsible to pay for the additional charges and will need to notify us prior to shipping.
