The following guide is helpful information that addresses common packing and shipping questions that we have received from our previous clients. 

Shipping Risk Disclosure

Shipping your headlights involves inherent risks, and transit damage can occasionally occur. While we can easily repair most external damage (such as broken housing tabs), damage to internal components may require additional parts and labor.

Important Note for PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System) Owners: These assemblies feature a pivoting projector designed for cornering. The heavy glass lens is mounted to a plastic carriage with only two points of contact. Significant impacts or rough handling during shipping can cause the lens to swing, creating enough inertia to break this plastic carriage. Please ensure these are packed with extreme care, as internal structural damage may incur extra repair costs.

***** Please Note (Shipping Insurance Warning): Because these delicate internal components cannot be physically locked down or secured inside the housing, they are vulnerable to transit forces even with perfect external packaging. For this reason, shipping carriers will almost always deny insurance claims for internal damage. By shipping your headlights to us, you accept liability for these uninsurable risks and any potential irrecoverable damage. *****

Headlights can be sent to us without bulbs, controllers or ballasts but it is not necessary to remove any components as during our repair service, their presence does not affect our ability to remove and replace the headlight covers. 

If you choose to remove any external components (such as ballasts, modules, or control units) from the headlight housings before shipping them to us, you must carefully track and label which parts belong to the Driver Side and which belong to the Passenger Side. Many of these internal and external electronic components are programmed side-specific to your vehicle’s computers. Swapping them side-to-side upon reassembly will likely trigger persistent dashboard error codes, warning lights, or system malfunctions that require dealer reprogramming to clear. We are not responsible for programming issues caused by mixed-up components.

Please do not use any form of styro-foam pieces or peanuts.

We perform our work in a controlled clean room to ensure a debris-free finish styrofoam fragments generate electrostatic charges and greatly interfere with the quality of our process.

Pack with care: Please wrap each headlight individually and securely in large 1-inch bubble wrap.

Providing a tracking number to us for your incoming repair service headlights is not necessary.

is a business address and all packages are securely received by an individual so no packages are left at our doorstep.

The included shipping service is via UPS Ground and for security purposes all outbound packages are sent with Signature Required. If a recipient is not available to sign when UPS attempts delivery, a second attempt will be made the following business day. After 2 attempts, the package will be sent to the nearest UPS Access Point location where it will be held for pick up for 7 calendar days. Please notify us prior to shipping if you want to request to have this requirement released from the delivery.

Customers may request expedited services but will be responsible to pay for the additional charges and will need to notify us prior to shipping.
